Founded in 2020, Full Throttle Lawn & Garden has grown from a small owner-operated business into one of Cairns’ trusted providers of professional lawn, garden and grounds maintenance services.
What started with a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces has developed into a dedicated team servicing residential, commercial, body corporate, retirement village, government and childcare clients throughout Cairns and the surrounding region.

Chris Curr
Owner & Director
Chris is the founder and owner of Full Throttle Lawn & Garden. Starting the business with a passion for lawn care and outdoor maintenance, he has built the company from a small operation into a trusted business with multiple staff and commercial contracts. Chris oversees day-to-day operations, quoting, client relationships and business development while maintaining a hands-on role within the company.
Rachel Curr
Administration Manager
Rachel has been part of Full Throttle since day one, supporting Chris as he turned an idea into the thriving business it is today, and officially came on board as Administration Manager in 2023. She keeps the wheels turning with invoicing, ordering materials, coordinating deliveries and day-to-day administration, all while looking after the two youngest members of the Full Throttle team, Levi and Bailey.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys family time, camping adventures and weekend getaways whenever the chance comes up.
Robert Forster
Leading Hand
Robert joined Full Throttle in March 2026 and leads one of our crews on site. He enjoys the variety of working outdoors and seeing projects come together from start to finish, and takes pride in holding the standard high so every job is finished properly for the client.
Organisation and communication are his strengths, keeping jobs running smoothly and efficiently from the first visit to the last load out.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys fishing, time on the boat and catching up with family and friends.
Ben Thwaites
Leading Hand
Ben joined Full Throttle in 2022 as the company’s very first employee and now works as a Leading Hand, helping deliver high quality gardening and landscaping services across Cairns. Known for his versatility, Ben enjoys the variety that comes with landscaping and takes particular pride in presenting a perfectly maintained lawn. The one job he’d happily hand over? Trimming bougainvillea. Those thorns never seem to play fair.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys martial arts, supporting the Melbourne Storm and quality time with his family.
Kortez
Crew Member
Kortez has been part of the Full Throttle crew for the past eight months, assisting with mowing, whipper snipping, hedge trimming, garden maintenance and general property upkeep. He enjoys working outdoors, meeting new clients and seeing the transformation a good clean up can achieve. Before joining Full Throttle, Kortez worked in the butchering industry, where he earned a Certificate III and the work ethic he now brings to every job.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and getting out for a round of golf whenever he can.
Leo
Crew Member
Leo is the newest member of the crew and loves shaping and transforming lawns, putting attention into the details that deliver a high quality, satisfying finish. Edging and mowing are his favourite jobs. Outside of work, he loves sport, fishing and going on adventures around this beautiful country.
